Marcellus Shale jobs are plentiful and pay well in Pennsylvania, but to get them, you’ll need to know what you’re doing. Enter Clarion University’s Venango County campus and their specialized degree they are initiating. very good idea for a university to offer this. Seemingly it is becoming a typical corporate response to say “we need to bring in our own people because the locals here don’t have the expertise to operate one of those rigs.” Now they will have the experience and the jobs will go to locals.
