The 35-year-old Adams started all 16 games this season for the Steelers and will be entering his 14th season in the NFL. Prior to signing a two-year $7.5 million deal with the Steelers in 2010, he played for the Dallas Cowboys.

Last season, he was paid $2.5 million and is due a $5 million salary for next season.
