It’s the time of year where drivers need to deal with potholes on the roadways.

However, there’s a new idea taking off that may make the roads easier to maneuver.

Experts from CMU and MIT have come up with a road damage assessment system.

People who spot a pothole are encouraged to take a picture of it, and upload it to a map that can then pinpoint their locations around the city.

Their website went up last week and they are already tracking 228 potholes
