Todd Graham Talks Football With Season Ticket Holders

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pitt Panthers head football coach, Todd Graham spoke with season ticket holders at a "Let's Talk Football With Coach Graham" event at the Petersen Events Center Sunday afternoon.

Graham and his assistant coaches made presentations to the crowd about what they expect from their players this season and illustrated how their schemes will be implemented.

Following the presentations, the 2,000 fans in attendance were able to ask Graham and his assistants questions about the upcoming season.

Wide receiver coach and co-offensive coordinator Mike Norvell told the crowd the team will be running a two-back spread offense with as many of the same players on the field as possible.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Norvell said, "You don't want to change personnel because it slows you down."

Graham and Norvell plan to run a balanced, but fast-paced and aggressive offense this season. Norvell told the crowd his offense will be playing a two-minute offense the entire game.

The Panthers begin spring drills on March 15 and fans will be able to watch this new "High Octane" offense on April 16, when they host the annual Blue-Gold Game at Heinz Field.
