McGhee Looks Forward To Possible Notre Dame Rematch

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Pitt center Gary McGhee joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller to talk about how the team celebrated winning the Big East regular season championship.

McGhee talked about how his team is preparing for the Big East tournament and a NCAA Tournament run.

McGhee said a lot of players in the Big East Conference look forward to the opportunity of winning the regular season and tournament titles because it is just as hard to win a Big East title as it is to win the National Championship.

McGhee and the Pitt Panthers look forward to the opportunity to play Notre Dame in the Big East Championship Game, so they can redeem themselves from the loss the Irish handed them earlier this year.

Although the Big East Tournament begins Thursday for Pitt, McChee said the team remains focused on their ultimate goal; a Final Four appearance.
