PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – Jim Colony caught up with Pittsburgh Penguins left winger Dustin Jeffrey after receiving a vote of confidence from Ray Shero and knowing he will remain with the team for remainder of the season.

Despite the comments and vote of confidence from Shero, Jeffrey said, he still plays with a “desperate, I can go down anytime mentality” because he never knows what will happen in the future.

Jeffrey said he isn’t too concerned with what line he plays on, because his versatility gives Dan Bylsma and the coaching staff a lot of options.
