Missing Homewood Girl Found By Relative

HOMEWOOD (KDKA) –- A missing girl from Homewood has been has been found safe.

According to police, Zaire Mauro, 12, was last seen leaving her home in the 600-block of Seagirt Street around 6 p.m. on Friday.

The girl’s mother called police to report her daughter as missing.

The mother was concerned because Zaire is on prescribed medication that could have left her in medical danger by not taking it.

Family members say she was discovered by a relative while coming out of a local store.
