Police Issue Arrest Warrant In North Side Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Authorities have issued an arrest warrant following a deadly shooting earlier this week at an apartment complex on Pittsburgh's North Side.

Pittsburgh police say they are searching for 31-year-old Jesse Lewis of the North Side. He is described as a black male, five-feet-one-inches tall and 120 pounds.

According to police, he is also known as "Lil Man" and frequents the lower North Side area.

Police say Lewis is wanted in connection with a shooting that left 29-year-old Lakisha Robinson dead and 24-year-old Richard Edge injured.

It happened early Thursday morning at the Allegheny Commons East apartment complex along East Ohio Street.

Robinson suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital where she later died. Edge was grazed in the arm by a bullet.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Pittsburgh Police Homicide Squad at 412-323-7161 or dial 911.
