Clark: Current NFL Offer 'Worst Plan In Sports History'

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Steelers safety Ryan Clark joined the FAN Morning Show in his weekly spot to discuss a range of topics.

Clark is in Florida for the NFLPA meetings and is spending time with his family at Universal Studios. He was not able to watch Hines Ward on "Dancing With The Stars" and didn't received any messages from his teammates about Ward's performance.

Clark said the Steelers players have a lot of team unity and are kept well-informed about the ongoing lockout and current NFL offer.

Clark tells the FAN Morning Show, the NFL is not telling the public the full details of their offer. If the players were to accept the current offer from the owners it would be the "worst plan in sports history."

Clark points out that the current deal calls for the players to take less than 50 percent of the revenue. Then, further down the line, the percentage of revenue sharing would decrease to about 25 percent.

Clark responds to all the criticism he received last week when he mentioned the Rooney family in his weekly interview with the FAN Morning Show.
