PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) – On Wednesday, Gov. Tom Corbett opened the door to discussions on imposing fees on the extraction of natural gas in Pennsylvania. The difference between a fee and a tax, if one exists, will forever be debated.

Corbett is clearly walking that thin line with the gas industry, and after a campaign that clearly stated his opposition to any form of tax on the industry.

Range Resources Spokesman, Matt Pitzarella, joined Mike Pintek to discuss the proposal and the impact it could have on the industry and region.
