Power Make Roster Moves Ahead Of Matchup With Mustangs

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Power have made some roster moves following an injury to their starting quarterback Bernard Morris.

Morris was hurt in the Power's first-ever AFL win, beating the Iowa Barnstormers on March 19 at the CONSOL Energy Center.

After the injury took Morris out of the game, the Power turned to backup quarterback and Pine-Richland graduate Kevin McCabe to lead them in the second half.

According to a press release from the team, the Power have re-signed Anthony Morrelli. He is a former quarterback with Penn State.

They have also activated wide receiver David Ball and recently acquired defensive back LaRico Stevenson for their upcoming game against the Milwaukee Mustangs.

The Power will face the Mustangs on Monday at 8:30 p.m. in their first away game.
