PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Ray Mernagh, contributing writer for the NBE Report website, joins Seibel, Starkey and Miller to discuss the newest Pitt hoops recruit Khem Birch and his performance in the McDonald’s All-American game last night.

Ray says Birch excels on the break and in transition, adding that he’s tall, long and athletic. The guys ask Ray what Pitt lost when Jaylen Bond re-committed and, what does the Panthers’ front line look like next year, specifically Dante Taylor.

Ray also praises JJ Moore as a gifted athlete and predicts he will be a big-time offensive player next season.
