Mother Of Missing 19-Year-Old Prays For Answers

BROOKLINE (KDKA) -- The mother of a missing 19-year-old woman from Mt. Washington is pleading for information.

Alivia Kail has been missing since March 4. She told her family she was going to Florida her boyfriend, Alexander Lorenzi.

Police arrested him on an unrelated drug charge after they say he wasn't cooperating with the investigation.

They also questioned Kail's ex-boyfriend, Zachary Zilles, who was arrested on an unrelated count.

With no answers and no word from her daughter, Christine DiDiano continues to receive support from the Brookline community where she owns a thrift store.

"I've gotten calls and I've gotten people in here, you know, that really are reaching out so much for her and praying for her safety," DiDiano said. "It's just overwhelming."

DiDiano says they are working on a vigil to bring Kail home.

"And my biggest prayer is not just for the thankfulness of all the people that are praying in good faith, those that may have her – someone has the answers," she said. "And we just want anyone, even anonymously, just make a phone call. Reach back out to us."

Lorenzi is due in City Court next week on that unrelated drug charge. He's now in the Allegheny County Jail on $250,000 straight bond.
