SOUTH SIDE (KDKA) – A man was shot during an attempted carjacking on Pittsburgh’s South Side Tuesday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the man was shot in the leg at the intersection of 24th and Jane Streets around 11 a.m.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The suspect fled the scene without the victim’s car and no arrests have been made at this time.
