Jeffrey Sidelined For 6 Months
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The promising rookie season of Dustin Jeffrey is officially over as it's announced he'll miss at least the next 6 months.
The Penguins have announced that surgery on Jeffrey's knee revealed that he has a torn ACL.
According to head coach Dan Bylsma, Jeffrey will be sidelined for six months.
Tough break for Jeffrey, who finally showed that he can play in the NHL. In 25 games, he scored 7 goals, 5 assists and was a +5.
Jeffrey is a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
