2nd Clairton Police Shooting Suspect In Custody
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Allegheny County Police have a second suspect in custody in the shooting of a Clairton police officer.
Marcus Andrejco-Jones was arrested at his apartment in Hawkins Village in Rankin Friday evening. He was questioned at Allegheny County Police headquarters.
Police plan to charge him with aggravated assault, assault on a police officer, burglary, robbery, unlawful restraint, criminal attempt at homicide, criminal conspiracy and indecent assault. He was being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
Myles Hutchinson, 21, of McKeesport, is facing similar charges. He is also being held in the Allegheny County Jail without bond.
A candlelight vigil was held Friday evening for the Clairton police officer who was wounded in the incident. Officer James Kuzak was shot three times while responding to the home invasion call on Miller Avenue earlier this week. He remains in the hospital with critical injuries.
