ROOT Sports’ Caufield: Penguins Punish Lightning

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — ROOT Sports Penguins analyst Jay Caufield joined The FAN’s Ron Cook Thursday to discuss the Penguins Game 1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Caufield said he loved the tone-setting hit from Brooks Orpik on Stephen Stamkos.

He also talked about which players shined brightest for the Penguins in their win, where Tampa Bay came up short and what they need to do to make this into the long series most of the experts have predicted.

Jay Caufield helped with this story? no wonder it’s short and doesn’t have any big words in it

  2. Joan says:

I think we should trade Crosby for another Stall or a real hockey player who actually leads on the ice. I pay taxes for an arena for him to practice. Has he made it through any season yet without taking time off for injury. I would even take Alex O.
