2 Men Charged In Somerset Twp. Meth Lab

SOMERSET TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Two men from Arkansas were arrested Thursday after state police say an apparent meth lab was discovered in a home in Washington County.

State police say 23-year-old John Decker III and 26-year-old Jarrett Cousins are facing several charges including criminal conspiracy, operating a methamphetamine laboratory and possession of drug paraphernalia.

One of their roommates turned them in to police. The roommate claimed a white cloud formed inside the house earlier this week and there was a strong smell of ammonia.

According to investigators, state police executed a search warrant at a home on Carlton Drive in Somerset Township.

State police say while inside they found evidence of an active meth lab and other drug paraphernalia.

Decker and Cousins were later arrested during a traffic stop.

They were arraigned and placed in the Washington County Jail on $75,000 bond.
