Pittsburgh (KDKA)- There’s more good news as two Pirate pitching prospects have good outings.

The early story of the season in the Pirate minor leagues is how well the organization’s top pitching prospects are performing.

Here’s a look at Sunday’s minor league results.

Indianapolis (AAA):
*LHP Brian Burress: 7 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 K’s
*RF Andrew Lambo: 3 Hits (2B)
*1B Matt Hague: 2 Hits (2B & 3B) 9th round pick in 2008, hitting .302

Altoona (AA):
*Aaron Pribanic: 6 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K’s (acquired in the Jack Wilson trade)

Bradenton (High A):
*RHP Kyle McPherson: 5 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 4 K’s
*CF Robbie Grossman: 2 Hits (hitting .317 for the season)

West Virginia (A):
*LHP Colton Cain: 6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K’s (one of team’s top prospects, drafted in 2009)
*CF Mel Rojas, Jr: 3 Hits (2010 2nd round pick)
*1B Matt Curry: 2 Hits
