2nd Suspect Sought In Lawrence Co. Home Invasion

UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Police are continuing to search for the second suspect in a Lawrence County home invasion Monday night.

Pennsylvania State Police said that despite cooperating with the assailants, two residents in the home were violently assaulted.

"I thought they were [going to] kill me," Tim McMillen said.

It became night of violence and terror when two men broke into the home armed with guns.

"I was just waiting for them to shoot. It was just so scary," McMillen said.

His wife, Amy, was dragged from her upstairs bedroom and beaten. However, the couple weren't the only ones in the home.

"There were also three children in the home that were not affected by the incident," Trooper Matthew Roth said.

According to investigators, 21-year-old Robert Bogdan was one of the two assailants. He was arrested shortly after the incident.

"He is known to police and was on probation currently at the time of the incident," Trooper Roth said.

Investigators said Bogden viscously attacked Tim McMillen, who could barely defend himself because he's a paraplegic.

"I kept telling them I [had] no money. Every time I told them that, they kept hitting me in the head with the gun," McMillen said.

The entire attack lasted about 15 minutes. The assailants took off with McMillen's pain killers.

Bogden knew the family and the layout of the home because his ex-girlfriend was a caregiver for McMillen.

"When they first came in the door, I recognized the voice," McMillen said.

McMillen was able to identify Bogden to police, but the other attacker remains on the loose.

"That's disgraceful, beating someone who is handicapped. That's wrong. I hope they catch this other guy. I hope they go to jail for a long time," Amy McMillen said.

Pennsylvania State Police said Bogden is cooperating with their investigation.

He is being held at the Lawrence County Jail on $100,000 bond and is facing a list of charges including aggravated assault and robbery.
