Former Penguin Peter Taglianetti Previews Pens-Lightning Game 4

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Former Penguin Peter Taglianetti joined the guys to help take a look at Pens-Lightning Game 4 as well as the controversy surrounding Chris Kunitz and Steve Downie stemming from their hits in Game 3.

We opened things up with Peter asking him about the Kunitz and Downie suspensions, and Peter said they are fair enough if the league is trying to send a consistent message but also added that nobody in the NHL hierarchy knows what they're doing when it comes to ruling on these hits.

When it came to discussing what the Pens will be missing without Kunitz in the lineup for Game 4, Peter said it's hard to pinpoint who will replace him and how much the team will miss his presence, and that Mike Comrie's playoff experience would make him the ideal replacement out of all the options the team has right now.

We wrapped things up with Peter by having him tell us if it's possible that Brooks Orpik's hit on Steven Stamkos in Game 1 is still having an effect on Stamkos three games later.
