BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) — Authorities in Beaver County resumed their search today for a college student who has been missing for several months.

Devon Minor 19, a Geneva College freshman, was last seen on Jan. 20.

After months of active investigation, officials say his disappearance remains a mystery.

Minor, from suburban Philadelphia, was last seen at a campus dining hall. His roommates reported him missing to college officials.

Back in January, police said they found his wallet, iPod, cell phone and a jacket inside his dorm room.

Police in Beaver Falls resumed their search today for Minor. They say they wanted to get back out because there is no more snow on the ground and before the summer foliage fills in the area.

Officers moved through the area on foot and a helicopter searched from the air.

They searched the riverfront area as well as adjacent property just north of the college’s campus to the south of Beaver Falls.
