Grocery Store Kiosks Could Start Selling Hard Liquor

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Automated vending machines dispensing wines may soon start stocking hard liquor.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board have announced a pilot program to allow the sale of hard liquor at select kiosks throughout the state.

The agency will reveal which five to 10 locations will be test sites for the sales next week.

Representatives would not say whether any of those machines are in the Pittsburgh region.

It will be at least two months before the liquor sales would be begin.
