BUTLER (KDKA) — State police say a Ross Township man is behind bars and facing more than 700 counts including sexual abuse of children and drug charges.

According to state police, 48-year-old Donald Morgan is accused in the sexual assault of a juvenile.

Investigators say on Thursday the 15-year-old girl walked into the Butler State Police Barracks to say she had been sexually abused since she was 12.

Authorities say other charges against Morgan include statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, sexual abuse of children, endangering the welfare of children, sexual abuse of children, indecent assault, corruption of minors and possession of marijuana and cocaine.

Authorities say the girl told police that Morgan had been friends with her mother for years, and she often stayed at his Ross Township home.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim stated that “Morgan would have sex with her almost every time she went to Morgan’s house. She said she had been there over 100 times.”

State police in Ross Township raided the home on Friday. They say they found nude pictures and video of the girl on a computer in the home.

Investigators say the alleged incidents happened between 2007 and 2009 in several locations including Allegheny, Butler, Erie and Forest counties as well as four other places out of state.

Morgan has been arraigned and was sent to the Butler County Prison to be held under $500,000 bond. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim or her family.
