2 Injured In Washington Co. Stabbing

RICHEYVILLE (KDKA) – Two people were injured in a Saturday morning stabbing in Washington County.

According to police, a man and woman were stabbed in their home in the 200-block of Vesta Avenue in Richeyville around 8 a.m.

The victims have been identified as 25-year-old William Wilson and 28-year-old Elizabeth Ebbert.

The victims went to Connellsville to pick up 30-year-old Matthew Myers and brought him back to their home for a party.

A verbal argument between Wilson and Myers escalated quickly. Myers allegedly grabbed a small knife of a stand in the living room and charged at Wilson.

Myers also allegedly punched Wilson in the head and face several times.

According to the police report, Wilson suffered a "puncture wound to the left eye and eyelid." He was flown to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment and was released.

Ebbert suffered cuts to her right arm and right ring finger while trying to break up the fight.

Myers suffered two puncture wounds to his right knee in the incident.

Ebbert and Myers were taken to Mon Valley Hospital for treatment and were also released.

Myers was arrested and is facing charges of aggravated assault and simple assault.
