GREENSBURG (KDKA) — Authorities in Westmoreland County are searching for suspects following a vandalism spree.

The incidents happened in several areas throughout the county.

Officials say that reports were filed in the areas of Fort Allen, Hannastown, Youngwood Borough and near Latrobe High School.

State police say nearly 70 people had their property damaged when someone allegedly drove through the neighborhoods and shot out windows of homes and cars with a BB gun.

State police estimate the cost of the damage to be in the thousands.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
