State Police Seek Auto Shop Burglars

MOUNT PLEASANT (KDKA) — State police need your help to identify some bold burglars who stole thousands of dollars in tools from an auto recovery shop in Westmoreland County.

It happened around 8 p.m. on March 26. Police say the two suspects forced their way into a side door at Greg’s Recovery on Weinman Road in Mount Pleasant.

Once inside, they can be seen on surveillance video making their way around the business, going through tool chests and other storage areas. They spend about an hour inside, at one point even turning on the lights.

They got away with more than $1,000 in tools. If you recognize the men in the video, you should contact state police in Greensburg.
