HOMESTEAD (KDKA) — Three people were shot in Homestead Thursday night as they walked down Glenn Street.

Police say the victims told them one or possibly two people began shooting at them from behind. Eight to ten shots were fired.

One of the victims was shot in the shoulder, another in the leg, and a third in the stomach. None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening.

A woman who lives on Glenn Street says a bullet entered her home and crossed through her living room. She heard the gunshots but was upstairs and fears she or her children could have been injured had they been in the living room. She did not want to be identified. A neighbor says the same house was hit by gunfire in the past.

Police with flashlights scoured the scene looking for shell casings and evidence. They have not released descriptions of the shooters.
