Cheswick Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Minor

CHESWICK (KDKA) — State Police today showed up at a home in Cheswick where they arrested a man on charges that he has sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl he first met on Facebook.

Timothy Mahronich, 25, of Fairmont Street, is facing charges including unlawful contact with a minor and aggravated indecent assault.

Investigators say the two met on Facebook and began emailing each other.

A criminal complaint filed with a District Magistrate says that Mahronich would visit the girl regularly over a two-month period, usually around 1 a.m. at her home in Pine Township. He would slip into the house, through her bedroom window and the two would have sex.

A neighbor, Suzanne Drummond, said she couldn’t believe the charges because Timothy always seemed like a nice guy.

Tonight, Mahronich is in the Allegheny County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Unlawful contact with a minor yes, aggravated indecent assault no. The girl knew what she was getting into and invited him in.

lol the dummy still shouldn’t have messed with a minor he was thinking with his other head to much freaking idiot that what he gets lmfao.

That girl is grounded until she is 18, you can bet on that.

She was probably hot and looks 19. These young girls now-a-days can look older. Young girls are much more chesty today than they were when I was 18. It makes it tough for “cradle robbers”. Gives a real meaning to the term “jail bait”.

Guys cruising the web for 18 year olds need to ask for ID.

    1. Ryan says:

You probably shouldn’t even trust an ID. I’ll bet she put her age as 18 on Facebook. This guy probably really should be looking at girls closer to his age anyway. I mean if he has to sneak in to her house overnight so her parents don’t know, that probably should be a red flag, unless he actually KNEW she was 14. In that case, then, he’s a perv.

The world is way too full of nimrods like these two.

  5. Not Assault says:

If it is proven that she misrepresented her age then the charges should be dismissed and she should be charged. In cases where a “victim” comes back for more without being forced then it definitely is not rape or assault.
