Evacuated Residents Return Home After Gas Leak

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Several people are back in their homes after a contractor struck a natural gas line while working on a sewer late this morning in Ross Township.

The incident happened in the 200-block of Sewickley-Oakmont Road which has now reopened.

Equitable Gas is conducting safety checks at the homes of evacuated residents as they return.
