Turnpike Accident Kills 1 In Lawrence Co.

LITTLE BEAVER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person was killed in an accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike late Friday night.

According to police, the accident happened in Little Beaver Township, Lawrence County around 11:30 p.m.

A car traveling west in the eastbound lanes struck a tour bus head-on. The car then crashed into the median, before hitting a second tour bus and coming to rest in the left lane.

The driver of the car was killed and three people on the buses suffered minor injuries. He has been identified as Fredrick Westfall of Leavittsburg, Ohio.
