Early season success versus 18 years of FUTILITY, its my guess we will see more of the same from the Pirates, 100+ losses and an empty $200 million stadium. Baseball is a footnote in Pittsburgh and will continue to be as long as MLB and Pirates ownership keep lining their pockets. I see nothing to tell me that this years group of no name minor leaguers will do any better than the last 18, it’s sad but true. Baseball in PGH isnt even worth free tickets. Give us a team to cheer for not one we already know will fail. RIP BUCS

    1. Real Pirates Fans says:

Glad there are MANY MORE Pirates and Baseball FANS than the Sweathogs above!! Keep up the good work, Buccos and know we’re behind you!!! Hey Sweathogs, hope you can’t get ANY tickets to come to the ML’s Best Ballpark and see the rising young Bucs! We Believe

      1. Just Saying... says:

Why wouldn’t Sweathogs be able to get tickets? We have some of the lowest attendence in baseball.

Real Pirates Fans; something tells me you’re Ron Nutting or a member of the Pirates organization.

So they won a few early season games, even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. Nearly two decades without breaking 500…. wow… No Pirate Ship here, just a big ol Failboat.

this dude Mike must spend a whole 2 minutes writing these stories. why don’t you put up the steeler schedule up next that should be simple enough for you

  5. Pirates Fan for Life says:

Sweathog- Chill Dude! I am as frustrated as anyone else since Sid Bream scored the winning run vs. the Braves in 1992. That said…recall the Steelers won nothing for what…40 years and well, we all know ther recent history. So, we are slowly, beginning to see a small turnaround with this Pirates team. I, for one, like what i see. Let these guys play together for awhile and see what happens. I think we all may be surprised in a short time.
