'The Mayor' Sean Casey Is Excited About the Pirates

Former Pittsburgh Pirates Sean Casey joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the Pirates start to the season and whether or not he can see them continuing to play at this level.

Sean is pumped that this team is competing and said he can see them sustaining this success because they have a good group of players here.

The surprise of the season to Casey has been the starting pitching and Sean broke down two of the biggest surprises in Kevin Correia and Charlie Morton, and how they've had so much success.  Casey went in-depth breaking down Morton, the confidence he has gained, and how that carries over for him and is putting him in a position to have this kind of success.

We wrapped things up with Casey taking a look at Pirates catcher Ryan Doumit and what the team might have planned for him after spending the entire off-season trying to unload him.
