Man Rescued After Schenley Park Accident

SCHENLEY PARK (KDKA) – A teenager suffered minor injuries after his vehicle went over a hillside in Schenley Park Tuesday morning.

According to officials at the scene, the accident happened on Circuit Drive around 3:50 a.m.

The vehicle landed on its roof on a walking path about 10 feet below the road.

The 19-year-old male driver was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was alert and conscious as he was being taken from the scene.

He was able to call 911, but first responders had a difficult time locating the vehicle due to where he went off the road.

The road has since reopened and the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
