PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The thunderstorms that moved through the Pittsburgh area left behind some damage.

PennDOT says the HOV lanes on the Parkway North are closed. It’s not clear if they will be open before the Friday morning rush hour.

There are reports of trees and wires down in North Fayette, Robinson, Plum and Forward Township.

Lightning is believed to have sparked two house fires in Plum on Rockland Drive and Hialeah Drive.
