Man Shot In Crafton Heights

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police are investigating after a young man was critically injured in a shooting late Wednesday in Crafton Heights.

Officials say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 1500-block of Crucible Street.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the 20-year-old man was standing in the street when he was shot.

The Post-Gazette reports that the suspect got out of an SUV, fired shots and then got away in the same vehicle.

The victim was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the jaw. He was reportedly in critical condition.

As of early this morning, no arrests had been made in the case.
