Rockslide Closes Part Of Route 88 In Washington County

FREDRICKSTOWN (KDKA) — A rockslide has closed part of Route 88 in Washington County.

PennDOT says large rocks have fallen onto the roadway.

Crews have closed Route 88 north and southbound between Fishpot Road and Community Street near Fredericktown.

Officials with PennDOT say their equipment is too small to clean up the slide, and it may take two to three weeks to get it cleared up.
