Former Pitt Panther Jabaal Sheard Happy To Be A Cleveland Brown

PITTSBURGH (Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN) -- Cleveland Brown defensive end Jabaal Sheard joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about getting drafted coming out of the University of Pittsburgh and the reports surfacing that the Browns want him to start right away in his rookie season.

Jabaal told us what he has been up to during the lockout and expressed his frustration over not being able to meet his new teammates and get started learning his playbook.

We also talked with Jabaal about his time at Pitt, specifically the relationship he forged with then teammate Greg Romeus.  After an injury-riddled final season at Pitt, Romeus was drafted by the New Orleans Saints and Jabaal told us how excited he was for his old teammate and his expectations for him as a pro.

When it came to discussing his new team, Jabaal said he has heard all the jokes about the Browns during his time here in Pittsburgh and is determined to turn that reputation around.  While talking about turning things around in Cleveland, Jabaal also gave us his thoughts on what they'll do to the Steelers.
