Wet Weather To Continue Until Weekend

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Wet weather will be coming and going in waves throughout the day Wednesday.

There will be some breaks of sun from time to time, which will only serve to add extra fuel to thunderstorm development.

According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, some afternoon storms will contain gusty winds and could produce hail.

We should all be on the lookout for flash flood potential, as the rain will be falling on already saturated ground.

Wednesday's high will reach 65 degrees. The rain should be rather spotty later tonight with a low of 53 degrees.

Scattered storms and showers can be expected on Thursday with a high of 68 degrees.

Some much needed improvement begins on Friday with a leftover shower and partly sunny skies with a high 74 degrees.

Right now, it looks like a partly sunny weekend and warmer with highs near 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
