GREENSBURG (KDKA) — One of the “Greensburg 6” will be spending her life behind bars, but her five others are still awaiting trial.

Angela Marinucci was convicted of first degree murder on Thursday – a charge that carries a mandatory life sentence.

The next court appearance for the “Greensburg 6” will be in July when Ricky Smyrnes and Amber Meidinger go before a judge for a mental competency hearing
.
The district attorney plans to seek the death penalty against Ricky Smyrnes, Melvin Knight and Amber Meidinger.

Also charged are Peggy Miller and Robert Masters.

Their attorneys are believed to be in the process of working out plea deals, but the district attorney said Thursday night that nothing is final.

Meidinger also did not have a plea deal in place when she testified about her role in the murder this week at Marinucci’s trial.
