Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Pirates top prospect Jameson Taillon was on the mound this morning as West Virginia hosted Lakewood.

Taillon had his second straight average start for West Virginia.

This morning, Taillon went 5 innings, allowing 7 hits, 3 runs and struck out 2 batters.

Taillon's ERA for the season rose to 3.38.

The only offensive highlights for West Virginia were home runs by Rogelio Noris and Eric Avila.

RHP Diego Moreno promoted from High-A Bradenton to Altoona.
