Sid Bream: ‘No Sympathy’ For Barry Bonds

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Former Pittsburgh Pirate and Atlanta Brave Sid Bream joined Vinnie & Cook in the studio on Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan Wednsesday.

He took a look back at his old Pirate squads, and he didn’t hold back his thoughts on Barry Bonds.

Sid also told us what he sees from this year’s Pirates, and where Clint Hurdle may be able to take this team. And yes, he also took us back to Oct. 14, 1992.

Where were you when Sid slid?

    1. George says:

I was bartending in my place, place was like a morgue. Right up there with remembering Where were you when Kennedy got shot

  2. I was at the game in left field behind Barry Bonds. No joke. Me and 3 buddies drove down from college and scalped 3 tickets off of some drunk guy for $100 total. Our seats were split and they were in the upper deck behind home plate. I never saw Sid slide into home because of all the Braves fans that jumped up. The last thing I remember was hearing a lady scream, “We’re gonna win!” I turned around and saw my buddies standing at the back of the aisle. I turned around met them and we left the stadium with our heads down. I still haven’t watched a replay to this day.
