Bridge Reopens After Truck Overturns

DUQUESNE (KDKA) — The Duquesne-McKeesport Bridge is back open this afternoon following an accident involving a tractor trailer.

According to the Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services, a tractor trailer carrying a load of coils rolled over onto its side.

The crash happened on the Duquesne side of the bridge.

Officials say no one was injured in the crash.

I swear I saw one of these coils laying on Blvd of the Allies at 8:00 am on 5/28/11. Was this related to this crash?

I was on the Blvd of Allies also and can’t find anything out about this accident which held up traffic for about an hour this morning! Was anyone hurt? Fined? or fired? could of been tragic!
