2 Suspects Sought In Perry South Armed Robbery

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh police are trying to track down two men who held a convenience store clerk at gunpoint this afternoon.

It happened at Swinko’s Market in the 2500-block of Perrysville Avenue.

Investigators also say the robbers grabbed the clerk’s own shotgun that he kept behind the counter.

The men held a gun to the employee’s head and took off with money from the cash register.

    And people wonder why grocery stores do not locate in high crime neighborhoods. This is why Pittsburgh needs more police to get crime under control.

    I am with you on that. I heard Jeff Ross is going to put a grocery store in the Hill District, that man is crazy. The black leaders have been doing the step n fetch it routine for so long that Homewood is ruined, the whites are waiting for the last 6,000 residents to move out so they can clean it up and move in.
