911 Tape From Alleged McKeesport Rape Played In Court

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Prosecutors have released a 911 call from a woman who says she was kidnapped and raped in McKeesport.

The woman called 911 just before the attack happened and the recording tells the story.

According to court testimony, the victim, 18 at the time, and 31-year-old Jacquay Hall ran into each other outside Street Stars Bar in McKeesport on April 6, 2010.

That’s when the victim says she was forced by gunpoint into a vacant garage. Just before entering, she says she called 911. She kept her cell phone on for the next 24 minutes.

Victim: “Please leave me alone.”

Operator: “Hello?”

Hall: “Shut the [expletive] up. Shut the [expletive] up.”

The jury of four men and eight women listened to the tape as the woman at times begged Hall not to rape her, offering instead her bankcard and other diversions all before the act took place.

Victim: “I’ll give you my phone number and we can hang out or something… I wish you would let me go.”

The defense says the reason the victim had to offer him so many different things is because she owed him money because she had taken drugs from him and was supposed to have sold them, but she never paid for them.

Jury deliberations will resume on Wednesday.

What a smart and brave young lady. Her ordeal must have been so frightening, yet, she kept her wits about her. Now, hopefully the court system will do their job, so she can get justice & begin to heal.

I am surprised the McKeesport prosecutor actually went after someone who really committed a crime. when Tanya Cash disappeared but still shopped and walked in public for years, it was like the keystone cops so it is good to hear that the residents are now smart enought to solve their own cases.
In my opinion maybe the falsely arrested victims of the Crawford Village rent fraud scheme will be vindicated and reimbursed.

your right that woman would have been slammed with paperwork from the mckeesport court for years if she would not have had her cell phone.

  4. Brett says:

Just to educate Laura and free doughnuts: McKeesport does not have it’s own court system. It is a state judicial system. You must have been educated in McKeesport’s school district.

No means No. What part of that doesn’t the jury understand??

    1. dlksfjsdklj says:

But, she took his drugs…apparently that defense holds sway.

It doesn’t matter if she shot him in the head the day before, doesn’t make rape any less rapey.

        I guess they needed VIDEO!

Brett I already knew that McKeesport has a small court to mess the citizens around and if something is too complicated or takes to much work they kick it to Pittsburgh and slam the person with paperwork to keep their head spinning. Thank GOD I was not raised in McKeesport because there is no justice in that town, anytime a kidnapped victim can walk around in front of the Mayor or the police and they say wow that’s not her, something is wrong. You all got rid of Brewster now get rid of his errand boy police chief Washowich and I guarantee you the legal system will work better for you.just my opinion.
