By: Mike Vukovcan

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Pirates manager Clint Hurdle isn’t wasting much time in seeing what rookie Josh Harrison can do in the big leagues.

Hurdle is going to start Harrison at third base tonight vs. the NY Mets. It’s pretty obvious that Brandon Wood isn’t a major league player so why not see what Harrison can do.

  1. A tired Old Fan says:

Better send Josh Harrison back down to AAA. It appears he can hit. We long suffering fans can’t have that.

  2. Dave Haman says:

I think they all need more time at batting practice, what I saw the last few nights looked really stupid. Swinging at balls out of the strike zone and watching ones down the middle.
