Bar Fight Leads To Shooting In Homestead
HOMESTEAD (KDKA) -- One person was injured after a fight in a local bar ended with shots being fired Tuesday night.
According to police, the incident happened at Pearl's Café on McClure Street in Homestead around 9 p.m.
A 31-year-old man was shot in the leg and was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. He was last listed in stable condition.
Police reviewed the surveillance video and found that the incident started as an apparent fist fight.
Police have arrested the alleged shooter. He has been identified as 32-year-old Jason Harper.
Harper is being lodged at the Allegheny County Jail and is facing charges of aggravated assault and firearms violations.
Forensic investigators are also looking at a car that was towed from the scene.
