HAZELWOOD (KDKA) – A standoff situation in Hazelwood ended with a juvenile being taken into custody Wednesday morning.

Police blocked off 2nd Avenue between East Elizabeth Street and Johnston Avenue around 10 a.m.

It is not known what led to the standoff at this time.

The juvenile was taken into custody and was transported to the Shuman Center.
