Route 88 Reopens After Rockslide
EAST BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- There's some good news for drivers in Washington County today following the closure of a road due to a massive rockslide last month.
According to PennDOT, Route 88 in East Bethlehem Township has now been reopened to traffic
The slide shut down the road back on May 13 when large boulders fell, blocking the lanes.
PennDOT officials believe all the rain this spring may have been a major factor in causing the hillside to give way.
