PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — What does Steelers’ Safety Ryan Clark think about Plaxico Burress’ early release from prison?

During his weekly chat with the guys from The Fan Morning Show on Tuesday, Clark said he’s happy for Burress and his family. As for whether the former Steeler will be able to contribute on the field following his incarceration, Clark was optimistic.

“I think he can get back and help a team,” Clark added. “A guy his size and at his skill level — even at the age of 34 — you know he hasn’t taken a beating the last two years, so take some time to get in shape to be able to play football again. But I think he could really help a team.”

Ryan also talked about his new off-season training regiment and his long-awaited return to Twitter. “Some of my old followers have weighed in and told me they missed me… It’s good to be loved.”
